TDAP & IT Export Promotion

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), established under TDAP Ordinance 2013, is Pakistan's premier trade promotion body. TDAP plays a pivotal role in promoting IT/ITeS exports through:

IT-Specific Programmes
  • IT Delegations & Trade Missions: TDAP organizes sector-specific trade delegations to key markets (GITEX Dubai, CeBIT, Web Summit, etc.) — subsidized participation for PSEB-registered IT firms.
  • Trade Shows & Exhibitions: TDAP manages the Pakistan Pavilion at international tech events. Reimbursement up to 50% of stall cost for qualifying IT exporters under the Market Development Fund (MDF).
  • IERF (Initiatives for Export Revival Fund): Matching grant scheme for IT companies investing in international marketing, certifications, and office setup abroad.
  • Strategic Trade Policy Framework (STPF) 2025–28: Identifies IT/ITeS as a priority export sector with enhanced incentives.
