Note: IT companies and individuals have mandatory reporting obligations for cyber offenses under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.
FIA Cyber Crime Wing / NCCA

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is the designated investigation agency for cybercrimes in Pakistan. The National Cyber Crime Agency (NCCA) has been established to centralize and modernize these efforts.

How to Report a Cybercrime
  1. Immediate Containment: Isolate affected information systems to prevent further spread.
  2. Data Preservation: Do NOT wipe logs or reformat disks. FIA needs these for digital forensics.
  3. Official Filing: Use the FIA NR3C portal or visit a regional Cyber Crime Circle.
  4. PTA Reporting: If you are an ISP or hold a PTA license, report the breach to PTA within 24 hours.
  5. NCERT Coordination: For critical infrastructure or government contractors, notify National CERT.
